as fishing, water sports,
boat races, and hiking) it is most famous for the mighty
Grand Coulee Dam!

to experience a tour of the
engineering wonders of the
eighth wonder of the world!
Tours begin at the Visitor Arrival Center which is
open daily for free tours.

The most popular feature of the dam is the new fabulous high-tech laser
light show program which runs nightly, Memorial Day weekend through the end
of September. Brilliant krypton and argon laser beams will amaze you as they
are played over the entire face of the dam. The story of "Water & Life" of
the Columbia Basin Project is narrated with accompanying stereo music
throughout this spectacular show which offers a program both educational and
entertaining.
